The house is located in a quiet street in the centre of the village, next to the municipal office, post office and shops. The house is unbasement, L-shaped, with an inner courtyard.

The village of Ostrožská Nová Ves is situated in the south-western part of the Uherské Hradiště district and the Zlín Region in the flat terrain of the Morava River. In a large forest park there is a sulphur spa, focused on the treatment of joint and skin diseases. In the centre of the village stands the Baroque Church of St. Wenceslas, opposite you can visit the Memorial House.

Cycling routes lead through the village, following the wine cycling trails. Sports activities are offered by a golf course with a beautiful view of Buchlov Castle and also to the west of the village there are large Novoveská lakes in the area between the Petříkovec and Morava rivers, formed by flooding of the former gravel pit. Cottages and recreational facilities are scattered on the banks of the lakes. The water area is used for water sports, for diving, fishing and as a natural swimming pool.
